We are an IL-DOT pre-qualified firm in the aerial mapping services category since 2002. The prequalification status requires: · Very accurate photogrammetric instruments and the latest versions of mapping software. · Extensive verifiable experience and at least one certified photogrammetrist on staff. · A mandatory level of general and professional liability insurance.
APPLICATIONS Two-foot contour interval mapping is used for preliminary engineering design, site planning or drainage management. In rolling terrain conditions this contour interval provides adequate representation of the land features.
For final design work where more planimetric detail and vertical information is required or for the volume calculations of the landfills, one-foot contour interval mapping would be the right choice.
